Portraits
My portrait work focuses on observing details—both of the person and the setting—discovering emotions, and capturing that special moment. To achieve this, I strive to create an atmosphere that is as pleasant and relaxed as possible. It is a fantastic, fun experience for everyone involved.
I conduct portrait sessions for a wide range of people and purposes. Individual clients often want photos that highlight their uniqueness, decorate their homes, or share with friends. I also offer various types of sessions: individual or family, beauty or fashion.
What I truly love about portrait sessions is revealing a person’s beauty from my own perspective—seeking out the strengths or emotions that often redefine how the subject sees themselves.
My approach differs depending on whether I am photographing an individual, a couple, or a group. My goal is always for the subject to walk away with the best possible collection of images. I have learned to embrace the unpredictability of a photoshoot; people often look for distant locations, yet amazing shots can frequently be found right around the corner. Authenticity is key in portraiture; the setting complements the subject, playing a vital role in the final result.
A portrait session typically lasts between two and three hours, with the best shots often captured in the final minutes—once everyone is relaxed and comfortable with the camera. It is best to schedule the session on a day off, a weekend, or to set aside an entire morning or afternoon for it. I can assure you that the time invested will be a beautiful gift in itself. It also makes a fantastic gift for friends or loved ones.
